School has finally begun! We had our orientation on September 28th, we went over our student handbook, met the faculty, and all the students introduced themselves. There are 55 people in my class! Everyone seems great, many of the students are married and have children so I have no excuse for not getting my work done:) Tuesday was our first day of actual courses, and it made me realize how "out of school shape" I am, I was tired, irritable, and could barely think after all that information overload. We will definitely be studying very hard for the next 28 months ahead:)
Ben looking very GQ on the first day:)
Last minute outfit change...too hot for a suit.
New friends Ida, Me, Celine, Jordan ...they were all very excited that I brought my camera.

We had to have molds of our ears made for a special earpiece, called a precordial stethoscope to better hear heart and lung sounds...
Ben & Mike waiting for their ear molds to set.

All the books we'll be hitting so hard...we picked up about 70lbs of books for school, but this is all we'll need for the program.
We hit the ground running this week and are already off to our first anesthesia conference this Friday through Sunday in Orlando, FL. Its the being held by FANA (Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists). Stay tuned for more pics to come... :)
You guys look great. Have a good time in Orlando. XO.
