January in the Wegener Household

After an awesome first semester of anesthesia school, we took our 4.0 selves:) back to the mitten for some family time. It felt so good to be home, relaxing with our families. We ate good food, baked and decorated Valentines Day cookies, played games, and layed low. it was a great break from Florida...but we are happy to be back in the 80 degree weather:)

New Years Day: Pancakes & Super Mario Bros

New Years day started out with a disappointing McDonalds trip...two people away from ordering and the manager shouts "no more breakfast, only lunch!" I was crushed! I ordered a DC (diet coke) for the road and headed to Publix, picking up all the neccessaries for my hungry brood at home. I fixed the bacon, Tom was on sausage duty, Ben made the pancakes and we all ate! Delish:) Then after I'd had enough football, I went to rent Super Mario Bros for the Wii...disappointed again, not in stock! So I took matters into my own hands, I rolled the baby car to Best Buy, bought the game, and we didn't stop playing til about 3 am!! We laughed, we cried, we almost killed each other...couldn't have spent the day a better way:)

We finally took a break from wii, we brushed our teeth, showered, and were back downstairs in 15min to begin playing again...as twins:)

And finally a day or two later...this man struck gold and defeated Bowser, rescuing the Princess!

New Years Eve 2009...bringin in 2010 with style!

Since we all had so much fun at Julie and Jason's for Christmas, we headed back over for New Years Eve, only this time, it was bigger and better. More food, more fun, more good times! Its going to be a great year...:)
