We still have a week left before school starts, so we've been trying to take advantage of all the free time before we have to hit the books! We have been to the beach a few times, we live off Vanderbilt Beach Road which dead ends at the beach about 6 miles down the road from us:) The water is warm and the beaches are beautiful! We did spend one night with our friends Tom and Bryan - they have been busy studying for finals, but took their last exam on Thursday -yea! Its great to be reunited with the old crew again and also meet new friends. With one week left, we hope to make it to Miami and maybe take a day cruise down to the Keys before school starts.

Apparently Florida has lots of poisonous snakes...we looked him up online, he kinda looked like a Water Moccasin...if I was allowed to get a little closer to the snake I could've gotten a better picture:)
